MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Hi there!
My name is Claudia Bolaños. I will be your instructor for this course. I specialize in education and digital media. Born in Boston, MA, I spent most of my life in Northern VA. In 2016, I earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychology at the University of Virginia. Since then I've held various education-related jobs -- as a private tutor, placement teacher, art instructor, daycare worker, and a special needs aide.
Meanwhile I also freelance in media production! Since age 12 I've been passionate about all stages of filmmaking -- starting from editing iMovie videos to directing student films, and shooting event footage for Washington area organizations. My goal is to keep creating digital learning content...and encourage others to do the same. In my spare time I enjoy music, cycling, arts and crafts, cooking, animals, and travel.
